First the controls and possability to fall off any ledge you see make the game way more difficult and take away from any fun you may have. I am thinking of asking for a refund. The graphics are beautiful; but, does not make up for the controls and other diffuculties of the game. It's like a Souls game without any of the charm or skill in presentation. The world looks like an early ps2 game with extra bloom. I tried it after seeing how 1.17 fixed the combat and I shudder to think how bad it was before because it still isn't good. With games like Monster Hunter and Dark Souls/Bloodborne under my belt I'm not exactly a stranger to combat that takes something more than just running in and swinging a giant sword. Even in the opening areas of Dark Souls and Bloodborne the enemy placement is very deliberate and serves a purpose, with the top down view the early enemies are just there. Kill them with one strong attack, winner is you, such high engagement.. I'm really sad, I was really interested to play all this game. But I was doing a mission and the game crashed and told me to start from scratch so I discovered the truth, at that point I did not accept it and I continued, and the game crash more.I'm sad to have such a good game, but with a little community, with exactly zero people playing today, a game that has a lot of potential, but it did not have to pay attention.The game is good, the story is good, I did not finish what I saw is really interesting, but because of bug and crash, I will not continue.Estou realmente triste, estava muito afim mesmo de jogar todo esse jogo. I did not like the game as a dark souls fan because the combat mechanics do not feel comfortable, animations are not optimized enough and It does not make me play it again and again. I think this was the last time I played this game.. The game itself looks ok, but playing it feels awfully wrong. The controls are fine (besides not explaining anything properly. Didn't know I could heal until I tried every button randomly), but the biggest problem this game has is an unresponsive combat. You barely notice getting hit real hard and you don't get a feel for your own hits. They feel lame and boring. If you really want to try it out/ feel the need to do so, I actually think there are some people who might enjoy this game a lot. As for me, I wouldn't recommend it because the general combat doesn't live up to my expectations and generally feels unpolished and somewhat rushed. So far so good, although the camera is troublesome in certain parts and some areas of the game are way too dark no matter how much you increase the brightness.. enjoyed the story and the graphics and the atmosphere. sows it's indie roots but oerall very nice and fun, kinda hard but then it's suppose to be. Ran ok, had no issues, been having fun and am not diswayed from completing the game. Lke it ovferall and recommend it for those into this genre of game.. I hate Dark Souls tbh.
